The Dawn And My Appeal
The Dawn And My Appeal started as John Guest's solo project, but has since
grown into a fully realized recording outfit. Melcher Rockwood writes lyrics
and sings, Aaron Goekler writes lyrics too, as well as plays bass and guitar.
John Guest does the primary songwriting and also records drums, bass and
guitar. John's first record as The Dawn And My Appeal, EP 1, was released
casually around the UNT campus on December 16th, 2011, as an unmarked
disk containing six tracks. The album is available now for free on the store
as a digital download. You can hear the single, "Blind Wheel of Love" from
their forthcoming full length record above.
